Shari Wright Pilo and Michael Horesh have traveled far, careers emerging out of the freedom of central Canada and from the conservatism of London.
Early on in the pandemic, their paths crossed. Previously, both had a cultivated a solid reputation; from business plans and raising capital to customer identification and global marketing campaigns.
Covid changed everything. An initial zoom chat led to us becoming a team.
Our clients were not just talking to us about numbers. Mindfulness developed an equivalent level of importance in their conversations. Mapping our customers, we found that many fitted into at least one of three core categories.

We pivoted. We collaborated.
We created a series of webinars called the “Digital Tool Box”. This was a hard-hitting course, directed at business owners and directors, struggling / seeking to find their way.
And hundreds found us. We were frequently running courses in parallel. And as we listened, we came to appreciate the alternative problems of the 2020s, not featured in textbooks.
**We are scared. The “imposter syndrome” cast its shadow a long way and covered the most talented of people.
**We don't have the time for everything.
**We feel hopeless amongst this myriad of never-ending new applications, seemingly designed for teenagers. The imposter syndrome came in through a second window, devaluing the knowledge previously achieved.

We incorporated solutions. We ran hundreds of webinars over two and a half years.
Our success rate was outstanding, exceeding any initial KPIs.

MICHAEL HORESH
Michael Horesh is one of Jerusalem’s most experienced business consultants, coaches, and mentors. He brings to his field an international accreditation from the UK and over three decades of commercial hands-on experience.
Michael has worked in industry and high-tech. He was the COO of an NGO. He has been responsible for large budgets in the public sector. He specializes in commercializing concepts across multiple disciplines, for both the Hebrew and English-speaking communities, securing funding, and generating sales from new sources.
His successes include taking companies overseas, securing around US$10m for the health sector in Jerusalem, and co-establishing the oldest networking group in Jerusalem.
As well as private clientele, he has been working/lecturing for over a decade with MATI, a non-profit organization promoting enterprises amongst new immigrants. As for those born in Israel, he is a consultant with the MAOF government program and its predecessors.
Michael has been an active board member of the Israel Britain Chamber of Commerce for years and is on the audit committees of two significant charities. He regularly posts original mentoring materials on LinkedIn and on Facebook.
Michael grew up in London, where teachers and lecturers hoped they were educating him. He has three children. And he will preach to anyone about cricket and whisky, even if they are not listening.
SHARI WRIGHT PILO
Shari proudly boasts of over 3 decades in sales and marketing, including SMBs and many startups. She co-founded a start-up. She has worked in-house in over 10 startups and has consulted many more.
She has led multiple entrepreneurial social initiatives, both in her hometown of Modi’in, across the country and overseas. She has inspired women’s groups and her use of digital media has driven engagement in the millions and 10s of thousands of followers to her media outlet supporting Israel's athletes.
Her biggest passion is teaching small business owners and entrepreneurs, supporting them as they build, scale, and sustain their businesses.
For over 10 years she has worked as a Consultant and Lead Lecturer in Digital Marketing at MATI Jerusalem, where hundreds of new immigrants have participated in her hands-on educational workshops. She guides students with essential tips, tricks, and hacks for successful marketing that truly generates sales. They learn how to compose crystal-clear messaging, create relevant organic content, build their funnels, and establish a powerful online presence.
As a Digital Marketing Specialist, her mantra is “reap what you sow”. She believes that sharing is the key to success.
